    Best Online Roulette Sites

The roulette casino market has never been more competitive, which is great news for players, but it can also be confusing. There are many top-quality roulette sites to choose from, but there are also casinos that we wouldn’t recommend.

Players can use this page as a guide - think of it as a gateway to the best roulette sites on the internet. However, it’s vital that you remember; there’s no such thing as the ‘best’ for all players. You are an individual, and your expectations and desires for playing online roulette will differ from the player beside you.

For that reason, we’ve provided an overview of the bonuses and promotions that you can snap up. Plus, we introduce several variants of this classic game so that you can find your perfect match.

Our team at Roulette Pro is well-aware of the best online roulette sites. We’ve compiled a list for you below to check out. Each one of these casinos provides a fantastic online roulette experience. They offer both virtual and live dealer roulette games, and there is an abundance of bonuses and special offers to choose from.

However, those components alone are not enough to satisfy us. Roulette Pro also reviews the casino’s mobile platform, its banking options and customer support, and the licences that it holds. If a site completes our quality assurance check, then we list it for you.

As highlighted above, there isn’t a ‘best of the best’ casino. These are all grade one sites, which is the best fit for you? Take a look and find out.

    Roulette Bonus Codes

One of the easiest methods of picking up a special offer is by using a roulette bonus code. Although not all casinos use these and they do not apply to every offer, they are very common within the online industry.

You can get roulette bonus codes to play virtual (RNG) games and live dealer roulette if you prefer. Usually, roulette bonus codes apply to welcome offers. This is the bonus that you can claim when you first register an account and make a real money deposit.

For more information on roulette bonus codes, including how to use them and the latest offers, take a look at our 2020 bonus codes page. As with all casino bonuses; please read the terms and conditions before claiming an offer. Pay special attention to payment restrictions, time constraints and wagering requirements.

    Roulette Promo Codes

Roulette promo codes are very similar to bonus codes in that they unlock a special promotion. If we must define a difference, we would say promotional codes are more often used for regular, ongoing offers.

These can include reload offers where the casino matches your deposit so that you have more cash to play with. Alternatively, you may get a roulette promo code for live dealer games, such as a cash rebate offer.

You can refer to our promo code page to see what offers are currently available. However, please remember that these codes are not essential for every promotion. To check, we recommend looking at the promotion’s terms and conditions. It will state in there if a roulette promo code is necessary and what it is.

    Roulette Table Variations

Newcomers may think roulette is roulette; however, it’s not that simple. There are three primary variants of the classic game, with multiple innovative spin-offs also available when playing online. Let’s take a closer look at each one:

American Roulette: This is like the black sheep of the roulette family because it uses a different wheel compared to the other two. An American roulette wheel consists of 38 slots, with the numbers: 0 (zero), 00 (double zero), and 1 through to 36 on it. The ‘0’ and ‘00’ are coloured green with the other numbers being red or black.

With a payout of 35 to 1 on a single number and even-money on colours, the house edge for American roulette is 5.26%, which converts to an RTP of 94.74%.

European Roulette: The difference with this variant (compared to American roulette) is that its wheel only has 37 slots, with the double zero being omitted. However, the payouts are the same, which is beneficial to players. As a result, the house edge is reduced to 2.70; an RTP of 97.30%

French Roulette: When assessing roulette table variations, French roulette stands out because the words on the felt are written in French. However, the wheel is identical to the one used in European roulette.

The advantage of playing French roulette over its European counterpart is the ‘la partage’ rule. Under this rule, players get half of their stake back on even-money bets if the ball lands in the zero (0) pocket. Effectively, this reduces the house edge to 1.35%, which is an RTP of 98.65%.

When you compare the RTP of French and American roulette, you can see why all experienced roulette players go for the French tables, and that’s why you should, too.

    Roulette Betting Options

Roulette offers many betting options, which is why it attracts a diverse range of players. Some like to play the low-risk, even-money bets, whereas other players like to take a chance on single number bets, which offer higher payouts.

Assessing your roulette betting options, you can split them into three categories:

Inside bets: These are the higher risk roulette bets, ranging from a single number (straight bet), which pays 35 to 1 through to six line (double street), which covers six numbers and pays 5 to 1. The reason these are called inside bets is because that is where you put your chips on the table to stake these wagers.

Outside bets: The opposite of inside bets are the outside bets. These cover dozen and columns, which both have 12 numbers, and the payout is 2 to 1. The other outside bets are the even-money wagers, such as odd or even, red or black, and low (1-18) or high (19-36).
In European roulette, every bet has an identical RTP. What this means is you could spend your life-time betting on red, or you could spend it betting on the number 7. In the end, you will end up with the same value.

Special bets: When you play roulette, you’ll notice that some tables have a racetrack beside the main betting area. This is for a series of special bets - also known as ‘French bets’. Among them are

    • Voisins du zero (the neighbours of zero)
    • Jeu zero (zero game)
    • Le tiers du cylindre (third of the wheel)
    • Orphelins (orphans)
    • Neighbours

    Roulette Game Variety

The assortment of roulette games keeps growing as games providers strive to continually innovate. These are a few intriguing variants you’ll come across.

Double Ball Roulette: One wheel, two balls - twice the fun and twice as many wins. As the name suggests, Double Ball Roulette uses two balls on a standard European or American wheel.
As there are two balls, the standard paytable has been adapted. However, there is a unique 1,200 to 1 payout if both balls land in the same pocket (and you bet on that number). There are a few variants of this game, so check the RTP before playing to find the table giving the best value.

Age of the Gods Roulette: This variant is themed around Playtech’s award-winning video slot series - Age of the Gods. While the mechanics of the game follow standard roulette rules, you can also bet on a special Gods bonus position. When this bet is a winner, it triggers a mini slot game where you get three free spins; plus, a guaranteed win of 100x your stake.

Lightning Roulette: Developed by Evolution Gaming, Lightning Roulette has become a massive hit in live casinos all over the world. Think of it as a turbocharged version of roulette. In addition to the standard game, Lightning Roulette uses Lucky Numbers. At the start of each round, between one and five cards are hit by lightning which then reflect multiplier win payouts up to 500x.

    Best Roulette Sites - FAQs

What is the best roulette game?

French roulette is the best roulette game in terms of the lowest house edge. If you’re serious about playing this game, we wouldn’t consider any other variant.

    How to beat roulette?

Unfortunately, you can’t. The house edge is fixed, and as this is a game of chance, there is nothing that the player can do to change that. Of course, this doesn’t mean you win over short periods - you will. The key is to leave the table at the right time; whether you win or lose.

Where can I find the best online roulette bonus?

Right here at Roulette Pro; our experienced team has evaluated the market, and selected the best offers for you.
